Our Services

Adult’s Services

Our Community Support service is for all adults aged 18+. Our service is mainly designed for people who need care in the community because of a disability or life-limiting condition. At times we help people for other reasons such as a short term impairment, for example rehabilitation after an accident.

We provide care & support so that people can live their life the way they wish even when they need a little help to do so.

We provide services such as:

  • All personal care support (we are CQC registered to be able to do this)
  • Helping with people’s medication & health needs
  • Supporting people with emotional wellness and lifestyle choices
  • Practical help with shopping & outings
  • Cooking and meal planning
  • Help to attend appointments or events
  • Support to attend education or employment
  • Attending meetings and helping people to have a voice
  • Staying & helping at home with our clients if this is where they feel safer
  • and more…

We take time to carefully plan personal support with all of our clients, so that they always feel in full control over the care we provide. We also then adapt our plans in line with any changing needs as time goes on.

All clients will be provided with trained, consistent, named staff & managers, with whom they can build trust and confidence.

We launched the Adult’s Befriending Service in 2022 to support adults who may be feeling isolated, lonely, or stuck at home.

Our friendly team of befrienders are warm, caring, and passionate about helping people reconnect with life. Whether it’s enjoying a chat, sharing activities, or getting out into the community for some quality time together, we focus on building meaningful companionship that brightens people’s day and helps them feel more connected.

What our clients say......

”My support worker is one of the people who really listens to what I want & need. She respects my choices and understands that I am a human being with a personality, not just a client.”

Children’s Services

We are an Approved Provider of Short Breaks for Children with Disabilities for Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC).

We understand how challenging it can be to balance the needs of your whole family, and this can be especially stressful when you are also supporting a child or young person with additional needs.

Short breaks are designed to give families time to rest, recharge, and focus on other responsibilities while ensuring children receive safe, supportive, and enjoyable care. being with someone new, who they trust, can help them in so many ways:

  • having new experiences
  • learning new skills
  • increasing confidence
  • improving communication
  • uplifting their mental health needs
  • being more physically active
  • and more…

Most short breaks are arranged through DMBC, (see your school or short breaks officer for details) but families are always welcome to contact us directly to learn more about the service and explore how we may be able to support your family.

In 2022 we launched a Child Sitting Service for children with disabilities.

We understand how difficult it can be to leave your child with someone else, especially when they need a little extra support and care. But we also know that parents and carers need time for themselves too.

Whether you have an event to attend, a night out planned, or simply want to do the shopping on your own, we’re here to help.

Our trained and experienced team can provide the extra level of care your child needs, giving you peace of mind while you take the time you deserve.
