What is Self Care?
WHO’s working definition of self-care is :
“The ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health-care provider”.
Here at Cura-Care, we believe Self care is about taking time for you! Understanding what actions you need to do to fulfil your basic needs. Our team, support our clients by taking time to do a range of activities ensuring they are taking time for them.
There are lot of activities you can do to take time for yourself and unwind such as reading a book, going for a walk, listening to music, drawing, painting, taking time for a cup of tea or even watching your favourite film.
